Our address is Jungmannova 32, Praha 1 (you can't get any more central than that!) - our premises are just 5 minutes from the main shopping area of Mustek and a stone's throw from the Wenceslas Square and a 5 minute walk to Staromestska Namest (The Old Town Square). Companies who share our location include Tesco and Deutsche Bank. A fantastic location makes for a fantastic experience!

Our TEFL/TESOL Trainees have a maximum of 9 other TEFL/TESOL colleagues in the class with them which contributes to our very friendly atmosphere. Teaching real students begins from day 2 of the Course and there is teaching practice every afternoon from 1:00-4:30pm (in addition to other onsite teaching experience), so Trainees receive a lot of essential real teaching experience which makes starting their teaching career all the more of an easier transition. On ITTP international TEFL/TESOL courses teaching practicum isn’t limited to just 1 type of classroom training - trainees teach different learner levels/ types.

There is heavy emphasis on varied teaching practice experience and in addition to scheduled training center General English teaching practice sessions there are also a significant amount of additionally observed and unobserved scheduled teaching practice lessons at local prestigious businesses in the center of Prague, such as Tacoma and Zivnostenska Banka.

The local Elementary School at Stare Mesto, faculty school of Prague's Charles University, is one school where our trainees have the opportunity of teaching Young and Very Young Learners. Here, our trainees are observed by leading English teachers in the field, such as Ms Mgr. Vuckova who was awarded the title English Teacher Of The Year 2006 (awarded by the European Commission EU, NA Socrates).

This makes the transition from classroom training to paid teaching a very smooth and natural process.

Whilst in-training it is important to study your Trainers teaching styles and so pick up additional valuable teaching techniques. Olga (pictured above), is a perfect example of The Involver/Enabler type of teacher, who provides her Trainees with TEFL/TESOL knowledge through a fun and interesting medium. When Trainees require assistance Olga is able to assist at once in a reassuring and knowledgeable way and without stopping the flow of the class: you won't feel silly putting your hand up to ask a question in any of your class.

We receive the latest ESL/ESOL titles from the wide offer of choice from Oxford and Cambridge University Press, ensuring you will be working with cutting edge training materials. Our TEFL/TESOL Trainers make good use of laptop availability during training and in addition we use a wide variety of audio and visual training equipment which ensures that every type of learner is accommodated in our training package. A new feature of our library and training centre is high-speed internet and WiFi connection.

Our student accommodation is within 5 minute's walk to our Training Centre and boasts a FANTASTIC location. Amenities in the fully furnished and newly renovated apartments include washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, coffee maker (important for those early morning starts), free HIGH SPEED internet access, 24 hour security, bath AND shower. Prices begin at just 8,000,-CZK inclusive for your month of training.

Whilst in-training, Trainees make friends and have fun. However, the Course is very intensive and your 4 week's of training will be very demanding. After everything has been completed on your last day of studies it is time to really let your hair down and CELEBRATE SUCCESS!
