Welcome to ITTP Prague! Our 4-week intensive 130-hour TEFL/TESOL Course combines theoretical analysis with hands-on practice and covers all the core TEFL/TESOL training components. Typically, classes average 6 Trainees per Course date and the MAXIMUM number of Trainees per Course date is just 12. A typical day begins at 9:00am and finishes at 4:30pm (plus of course homework every evening and at weekends). You will have teaching practice, teaching real students, every afternoon at our Training Centre from 1-4:30pm and also additional teaching practice on location in schools and companies. This heavy emphasis on teaching practice combined with our excellent Trainers and small classes make this Course one of the most dynamic and friendly TEFL/TESOL Courses on the market today.

Where would you like to be in a years time?

Upon completion of this Course you can either teach in this beautiful city of Prague or you can begin teaching in other great locations such as Africa, Asia or South America. We have helped to secure our graduates teaching placements around the world from La Paz, Bolivia to Taipei, Taiwan.

What does the Course involve?

During the Course you will:

learn how to identify lesson aims, personal aims, anticipated problems, possible solutions, assumptions and materials in developing lesson plans;

develop classroom management skills;

learn the important skill of evaluating your own teaching through teaching practice feedback time;

increase your ability to work in cross-cultural settings;

gain experience in many different areas of TEFL/TESOL such as coping with teaching groups and one to one/ teaching Business English/teaching populations with special needs such as young and very young learners;

focus on English grammar skills and learn how to create effective, dynamic grammar lessons;

learn to evaluate supplementary materials;

gain valuable insight in finding and evaluating English teaching jobs worldwide.
