ITTP provides Online TEFL/TESOL training courses, combined Online and
Onsite TEFL/TESOL training courses, and Onsite TEFL/TESOL training courses,
which lead to the awarding of the internationally recognized TEFL/TESOL
certificate.

The ITTP website is operated by ITTP, spol. s r.o. In the text of the
ITTP webpages (http://www.tefl-tesol-online.com and http://www.tefl-tesol-prague.com)
‘ITTP’ is often referred to as ‘we’, or ‘our’;
for example ‘our graduates’.
The usage of ‘we’ and ‘our’ is for a matter of
convenience and limits unnecessary repetition of the ITTP business name
by better implementing the flow of text content. In addition, ITTP, spol.
s r.o. has been shortened to ‘ITTP’ for company and client
convenience.
Course Requirements
A whole range of people from many different cultural backgrounds graduate
from the course. ITTP encourages and welcomes all applications - regardless
of sex, age, race or nationality. Conditions of entrance are set by international
guidelines. These are that applicants:
• should be Native English, or Non-Native advanced English speakers (i.e. English is your first language or Mother Tongue and/or if you speak English proficiently).
• applicants must be 18 or over.
Application procedure
The process of booking a place on all ITTP international TEFL/TESOL courses
begins with completing the ITTP online application form and applicants
are kindly requested to fill in all sections of the online application
form. This form is found on ITTP webpages:

After receiving your application a senior member of the ITTP team will
get back to you within 1 business day to either let you know that your
application is being processed, or to ask you more questions based on
your application. We will then arrange a mutually convenient time for
a telephone interview at our expense (a business week is calculated from
Monday 7am CET (Central European Time) to Friday 4pm CET (Central European
Time). You will then receive notification of acceptance onto the course
(if successful) as soon as your application has been passed for assessment
by the ITTP admissions team. Should there be any difference in information
between ITTP official websites then the information provided on tefl-tesol-online.com
and tefl-tesol-prague.com are legally binding for ITTP. Because our courses
are extremely popular, and because course places are limited, we try to
process applications within the space of 1 week to avoid trainees missing
out on their number 1 course date of choice. We are committed to the requirements
of our trainees and always go out of our way to place trainees on their
first choice of course date.
Please note: applicants of the Fast Track Online are exempt from the full selection task and need only complete the application form and then submit payment to automatically begin their studies.
Payment
• Fast Track Online: Full payment must be made within 10 days of
submitting of application form. To take advantage of the ITTP discounted
course price, payment must be sent within 3 days of submitting application
form.
• Integrative Online/All Inclusive Online/Prague-Online/Onsite: Upon official acceptance of your application you will be sent notification confirming acceptance and confirmation of your place on the course. Full payment must be made within 10 days of notification to secure a place. To take advantage of the ITTP discounted course price, payment must be sent within 3 days of receiving official acceptance to course notification.
• Prague Onsite-Low Season/Prague Onsite-High Season: Upon official acceptance of your application you will be sent notification confirming acceptance and confirmation of your place on the course. The $390 deposit must be made within 10 days of notification to secure a place. This non-refundable deposit will be subtracted from the total course fee. To take advantage of the ITTP discounted course price, deposit must be sent within 3 days of receiving official acceptance on to the course. Full course payment (minus deposit balance), must be made at least 4 weeks prior to the beginning of the course. Please note: alternatively, you may wish to pay your remaining balance once in Prague, personally at the ITTP head office - if you decide upon this option then your payment must be made in local currency (CZK) and by the Saturday before the 1st week's course studies begin. We will of course provide you with a tax receipt for any payments made in person.
Please note: discounted price is calculated from time payment is sent and not from time payment clears the ITTP business accounting department – therefore, if you send your payment off within the 3-day period (and even if your payment does not show up on the ITTP business account within this 3 day period), then you will still automatically receive the discounted course fee price.
Methods of payment accepted
• You can choose to pay securely online. ITTP, spol. s r.o. utilizes
the latest in Secure Server Technology to ensure that all personal and
transactional information is protected to the highest standards.
ITTP accepts all major forms of credit cards and payment is made through a secure, certified web area.
Please note: We suggest, when sending payments (especially to the Czech Republic – where credit card fraud is high), you be very wary of any business which requires that you provide your credit card details over the phone/fax or any business which requires that clients send their credit card details through a non-secured website form.
All personal financial information submitted via the ITTP certified web area is protected by 3-D Secure Protocol, implemented by MasterCard SecureCode, and Verified by Visa.
• You can choose to pay securely via bank transfer. Please feel free to contact us for our business banking account details (not published online for security reasons). Please note: if you are paying via bank draft then ITTP will pay for your charges - you should deduct any transfer charges from your payment sent and request a copy of your transaction as proof of amount of charges incurred. This transaction copy should then be either sent via scanned copy in email or through fax to our Head Office in Prague (paid charges compensation applicable to Onsite and combined Online/Onsite Prague TEFL/TESOL applicants only).
• You may pay in person at our Prague Head Office. Pre-arranged meetings will be accepted only – thank you. We will provide an official receipt for any payments received in person - mainly applicable for Onsite ITTP trainees who have pre-arranged a meeting to make their remaining course fees payment in person in Prague - your balance will be exchanged and rounded up to CZK according to the current rate announced daily by the Czech National Bank. This shall be calculated from the exchange rate of the day when your deposit payment was sent. For all other applicants the exchange rate shall be calculated from the day of official acceptance to the course.
Currency
All course fees are quoted in USD (United States Dollar). ITTP’s
home currency is the Ceska Koruna (CZK). When your payment is submitted
via the ITTP secured online credit card payment area, it will be converted
from the currency of the country where the purchase took place to local
Czech currency, calculated at the daily rate of the USD to CZK according
to the daily currency exchange rate announced by the Czech National Bank
This also applies to secure payments made via international bank transfer
payment and payments made in person at the ITTP Head Office.
Refunds and Cancellations
You are entitled to a full refund of your payment received by ITTP, minus
any transfer fees incurred by ITTP through receiving your payment (if
applicable) and a minimal admin fee (3.5% from total amount received),
within 5 business days from your Online or Onsite or combination Online/Onsite
international TEFL/TESOL certification course purchase date if your plans
change (a business week is calculated from Monday 7am CET (Central European
Time) to Friday 4pm CET (Central European Time). Please note: this is
not applicable to non-refundable deposit payments or if the period of
time from payment of Onsite TEFL/TESOL course study is less than 6 weeks
from your full-time Onsite TEFL/TESOL course start date. Should you feel
dissatisfied in any way with your experience on the course a partial or
full refund may be applicable, at the discretion of the Online TEFL/TESOL
Managing Director (Neville Thomas) or, Onsite TEFL/TESOL Managing Director
(Mgr Alena Thomasova). Any complaints or requests for partial or full
refund should be sent by postal mail to:

ITTP reserves the right to cancel an ITTP Onsite international TEFL/TESOL course date. In this rare eventuality, all trainees concerned will be notified and trainees will have the option of transferring to another course date or next available course date free of charge. Should trainees find their first choice course date is fully booked then ITTP will place these trainees automatically on their second choice course date. In the rare event of both first and second choice of course dates being fully booked, then ITTP will place these trainees on the next available course date.
Accommodation
ITTP provides furnished shared and single occupancy apartment options
for its trainees in the heart of the historical quarter of Prague - an
exclusive area of Prague 1, just 3 minute’s walk from the ITTP Onsite
international TEFL/TESOL training center. Prices begin at just 7,450 CZK
for the month of Onsite TEFL/TESOL training and are inclusive of all bills
– there are no additional or hidden fees and rental fees remain
constant year-round regardless of whether trainees are studying at low
or high season. Reserving your ITTP student accommodation option is arranged
when course place has been secured. Please note: A refundable 4,500 CZK
key deposit is required per person and collected on the day of officially
moving in to the ITTP student apartment option and returned within 48
hours of officially moving out of the ITTP student apartment option (subject
of course to any damage to the apartment incurred during time of occupancy).
If you would prefer to find your own accommodation, longer-term accommodation
for example, then we are also here to assist you (also applicable for
Online and combined Online/Onsite ITTP TEFL/TESOL trainees). With extensive
knowledge of Prague, ITTP assists in accommodation searches for its trainees
for accommodation options beginning at just 3,500 CZK per month –
although monthly rents do usually begin at approx 5,000 CZK. For this
service we charge no extra fee and accept no commission from any accommodation
service. This service is part of ITTP’s ongoing commitment to you.
So, if you are looking for a single room in a shared apartment or a penthouse
suite on the main square or something somewhere in between, ITTP can help
you find the right place for you and at an honest and local price. ITTP
is primarily an international TEFL/TESOL course provider and we are not
obligated to provide accommodation - we provide accommodation assistance
to help trainees settle in more easily. An accommodation deposit secures
your chosen living space in your student apartment and is non-refundable.
However, if your plans do change then we will do everything we can within
our capabilities to try and fill up your place and if we are provided
with enough time in which to then fill the place with another trainee,
then we will automatically transfer your accommodation deposit to your
existing course deposit to form a non-refundable extended course deposit.
In the rare event that you are late in sending in your deposit and miss
out on an ITTP student accommodation place, ITTP will likewise automatically
transfer this payment in full to your existing course deposit to form
a non-refundable extended course deposit payment. There is no charge for
this service. ITTP will also then provide you with alternative accommodation
options. All extended course deposits will of course be subtracted from
remaining course fees.
Transferring course dates
Many ITTP trainees sign up weeks or even months before their Onsite TEFL/TESOL
course date begins. Should your plans change, and if you provide ITTP
with sufficient notice, it is possible to change course dates and transfer
to another month’s course date. ITTP charges no fee for course transfers
as long as notification is given at least 6 weeks before course start
date. Possibility of transfer is dependable on next course date available
course places and ITTP is not legally obliged to accept all applications
for transfer. ITTP requires that all applicants who decide to change course
dates make an additional $390 deposit payment which will form a non-refundable
extended deposit payment (added to the existing course deposit) and will
of course be subtracted from your remaining course fees balance.
ITTP Course Failure Policy
Enrolment onto the ITTP Online international TEFL/TESOL certification
courses and ITTP Onsite international TEFL/TESOL certification courses
does not automatically lead to successful graduation. ITTP reserves the
right to fail a trainee. In the unlikely event of a trainee failing to
successfully graduate from the course the trainee shall receive further
guidance and, depending upon the nature of the failure, a chance to re-take
a part or the whole course again. Please note: Plagiarism is not taken
lightly and any student caught plagiarizing will be formally warned and,
in the event of continued plagiarism failed. Trainees are obliged to attend
and to arrive on time to all Onsite TEFL/TESOL methodology and teaching
practice classes. Lateness and/or absence may result in a trainee receiving
a lower final mark and in exceptional cases of lateness and/or absence
the trainee may be disqualified from the course, without refund. Trainees
are required to behave in a respectful manner to members of staff, members
of management, and their students. ITTP will not tolerate unruly behavior
and if a trainee is disrupting class time because of inappropriate behavior
or conduct, they will be first politely warned, and if disruptions continue,
will then be asked to leave the course without refund.
If you fail an Online TEFL/TESOL module
(applicable to students of Fast Track Online/Integrative Online/All Inclusive
Online/Prague-Online/Onsite).
Part of our commitment to education is the unique ITTP feature that a trainee may re-submit a module up to 3 times. If the trainee fails to pass the module on the 4th attempt he or she shall receive further guidance. Throughout the course your personal tutor will be constantly evaluating and reporting your progress to one of the ITTP Online TEFL/TESOL Course Coordinators and the Online TEFL/TESOL Managing Director.
If you do not complete your Online TEFL/TESOL course
within 6 months
(applicable to students of Fast Track Online/Integrative Online/All Inclusive
Online/Prague-Online/Onsite).
ITTP provides Online TEFL/TESOL trainees with a maximum of 6 months to complete the Online study section of their course (applies to all 3 ITTP Online international courses and the ITTP Prague Online/Onsite international TEFL/TESOL course). However, ITTP also understands that its Online and Online/Onsite TEFL/TESOL trainees may have other time commitments and trainees should contact us if they feel that they might need additional study time past the 6 month deadline. Please note: there is an administration fee for arranging course extensions and for this ITTP charge a flat fee of $95.
ITTP Continued Job Assistance
ITTP aims to help to find competitive teaching positions for all its Onsite
and Online TEFL/TESOL grads upon successful completion of their ITTP Online
and Onsite international TEFL/TESOL certification course, and within 1
month of course completion.
ITTP provides an extensive job assistance program and to date ITTP has a 100% record of finding its grads, who wish to teach immediately and who are sufficiently active in their search, teaching positions within 4 weeks of finishing their course. This represents ITTP’s global reputation and extensive network of global educational contacts/partners: ITTP sends its grads all over the world. This applies to both ITTP’s Native English and Non-Native English Online and Onsite TEFL/TESOL grads who take either the Fast Track Online, Integrative Online, All Inclusive Online, Prague Online/Onsite, Prague Onsite – Low Season, or Prague Onsite - High Season.
If you are studying online then you will receive your international job guidance incorporated into module sections, combined with personal assistance support from the ITTP International Job Guidance Team. If you are studying onsite you will receive your international job guidance support in sections of the scheduled 2nd teaching week, combined with personal assistance from the ITTP International Job Guidance Team throughout Weeks 2/3/4.

Publishing company information
ITTP does reserve the right to publish on its website any materials which
are connected directly with course study and completed on an ITTP international
TEFL/TESOL course. However, ITTP will never publish telephone numbers/street
addresses/email addresses – this information will always remain
confidential. Individual photos and personal data will only be published
with an ITTP grad’s prior written consent.
Some schools may publish email addresses and/or “authentic” email addresses of past grads on their website. ITTP believes that it isn’t the job of grads to act as marketing agents and grads won’t be pressurized to win further clients once they have completed their chosen ITTP TEFL/TESOL international course date. ITTP leaves it up to the discretion of its grads to pass on the excellent name of our school.
Liability
ITTP is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal property.
ITTP is also not responsible for a trainee’s health or safety.
Disclaimer
All the information published on the ITTP website has been done so in
good faith and is intended to assist trainees. For legal reasons we are
obliged to state that ITTP is not responsible for indirect or direct loss
resulting from the use of information on the ITTP website.
